Twilight of A Mother’s Love

Published by skye08 under Alzhiermer's, Poetry Edit This

Even in the twilight of life,

A Mother’s love is strong.

A bond of love forever lasting,

Even though memory may be weak,

Love is forever strong.

Happy Mother’s Day

Three Little Words

Published by skye08 under Poetry Edit This

Three Little Words

Missing image

Three little words can mean so much.

Life changing words.

But are they heard and said with the same

understanding and context by the sender and receiver?

How far above the Heavens can your understanding let you fly?

How long in time will these words sustain you and fill

your heart, mind, and soul?

Three little words to wrap around you to protect against

the other words hurled at you each day.

Which have more protection, those said by another to you

or said to yourself by you?

The meaning appears so clear but clouded by interpretation.

I love you, I love you, I love you.

Will these three little words carry you through the

good times and the bad;

In sickness and in health and in poverty and in wealth?

Carry you through times your not remembered and times

you carry all the load?

I love you, I love you, I love you.

A warm blanket in the middle of the night that wraps

around your soul.

Gives strength to make the load lighter and

showers you in wealth with no money in the bank.

A cool cloth to a fevered brow and the healing

touch of a hand.

I love you, I love you, forever.

How long does forever last?

Alpha and Omega?

Or til the morning light?

What is this thing called love?

Connection

Published by skye08 under Fibromyalgia, Poetry Edit This

100_0880.JPG
The Light of God connects us all, like tiny strands of pearls.
Branching from His one great Light, and covering the earth.
And like a necklace made of pearls, we each are made more
beautiful by the other.
Connecting us directing us through the core star of our soul;
So that we may light the world with his Love and Forgiveness.
Let us awake and spread His Light throughout this earthly plane.
His Light forever shining bright from one soul to the next.

Alaha, Alaha

Published by skye08 under Poetry Edit This

Alaha, Alaha

What did Jesus really say while hanging on the cross?

Did he really question that his father would forsake him?

The path he walked upon this earthly plane was agreed upon before he left God’s side.

Each step upon His path carefully crafted for us to follow to bring us to the connection with the All.

He would not give us doubt while teaching unconditional love and forgiveness.

His purpose to show us the trueness of Reality that we are One with God

Translations often get confused from one language to another.

Aramaic was the words of Jesus.

The truth he gave for us to hear was never any doubt.

“Abba, Abba, for this I was spared!”

Spared to show us unconditional love and forgiveness even while facing those filled with hate.

For this is the Greatest of all life lessons that will connect us forever as One.

There is no doubt that we are loved and will never be forsaken.

God is Love and so are we.

Let us Love one another

Energy Savings

Each day starts as the day before.
Will I die today?
The answer as always the same.
No.
As I start the day to feed, bathe, and dress him,
My own pain creeps up the scale.
I look at his paleness and note the wasting muscles
And see him wither more each day.
Confusion ever growing and hallucinations to match.
I’m told that I can’t keep him home
And for a nursing home he’s bound.
I made a promise and a vow;
In sickness and in health.
I must say a prayer of thanks for the pain
And exhaustion I feel.
It is the pain that keeps me home
So I can care for him.
A daily ritual has begun at five o’clock each day.
The imaginary people come to visit
And sit upon the our couch.
He talks for hours before he tires
And wishes them to go.
So he raises his voice to let them know
That he hallucinates.
Slowly he rises, his legs so weak
And he says he is glad they are gone.
His memory of the home we have
Fades a little each day.
He can’t remember where we sleep
And must ask to find the bathroom.
For fifteen years he has walked this hall
But he has forgot.
I have to wonder what he sees in walls
That have not moved and doors that have not changed.
I love him so and he loves me when his memory points me out.
I answer to so many names so not to con fuse him more.
Just find the flow and ride;  his smile will
Carry us on journeys here and far away.
We never have to leave the house. Think how much money we save.

Surrender

Surrender comes when the ego has failed.
The ego will take us to a path of pain, illness, chaos, limitations,
lack of abundance in love, health, energy, peace,
harmony, balance and prosperity.
It will keep you in an ocean of sharks with no help in sight.
It will cloud your vision and keep you in a state of false mightiness.
It will hinder your faith, question your being
And bring you down to a pit of mud.
A pit of mud we will wallow in for the rest of our days,
As we cry out in misery.
It will take away all hope of rising from this
Pit of misery and self pity.
It rejoices in your fatal state and refuses to let the veil rise.
The ego offers false hope, false strength, and the false belief
That only “I” can reverse this curse.
We are not “I” we are spirit souls connected by love, faith and hope.
A glimmer of hope is a ray of sunshine that will energize the withered
Souls planted in shallowness.
Faith will add depth to the roots.
Love will quinch the thirst and germinate the seed of hope.
Feed the depth of faith and blossom the soul to the most
Prolific of blooms everlasting.
And as one soul blooms so does each and every other
Soul blossoms in the love that connects us all;
Completing our life lessons of love and forgiveness
And we all become more than whole.
The brightest light in heaven and a guide for all to follow.

Faded Beauty

Published by skye08 under Poetry Edit This

Her beauty we gaze upon in wonder and amazement.

But does this outer cover survive as time goes

marching on?

Does her beauty radiate from the inside out or

does her beauty of the present fade from day to day?

Do we even try to look past the cover of the book

to the timeless beauty within?

For looking only at the surface, time will pass us by;

But if it is the soul we seek, such beauty will

stop all clocks.

Faded beauty and precious memories chain us to the past.

It is the beauty of the moment that gives us peace within

And breaks the chains that tie us down to this earthly plane.

The Universe awaits, it is our choice to make
